Left it All

Lyrics:
I hate this world you've made
with your self-righteousness and lies.
I
know you better than this,
And I'm tired of hearing you apologize.
You
speak of love as something
you can just pick up at a store.
While you're
out shopping at your open air markets,
I'll be finding what I'm looking
for.
And I don't want to hear, "For the sake of the kids."
That doesn't change
a thing that you did.
And I don't want to talk about when things were at
their best,
or what we have left.
'Cause you left it all behind.
When you wake up, I'll be miles away.
I can't get past the things you
say.
What's worse is who you say it to...
...and I've always been honest
with you.
If I told you once, I've told you twice,
and I'll tell you once
again.
I'm not the only one who
deserves to answer for my sins.
And I don't want to hear, "For the sake of the kids."
That doesn't change
a thing that you did.
And I don't want to talk about when things were at
their best,
or what we have left.
'Cause you left it all
behind.
